Jeremiah is a dedicated Human Resources Specialist with the Department of Homeland Security, specializing in Recruitment and Placement for the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol. In this capacity, he oversees the creation, posting, and tracking of multiple job openings within the department, meticulously reviewing resumes and onboarding selected applicants to ensure vital roles are filled with top talent. Though relatively new to this role, Jeremiah brings over five years of corporate Human Resources experience to his position.

In addition to his work with the Department of Homeland Security, Jeremiah co-owns and operates 4 Seasons Apparel & More, LLC, a successful small business in Waseca, MN. For over a decade, Jeremiah and his wife have catered to a diverse clientele, offering custom designs and brand logos on apparel. Their retail shop also features general branded items for schools and casual wear.

Jeremiah also serves as a Human Resources Chief Warrant Officer 4 in the Minnesota National Guard, with over 30 years of distinguished service. He was selected as one of two Senior Warrant Officers to assist the United States Air Force in establishing their first ever Warrant Officer Training School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.

Prior to the assignment in Alabama, he was a Training, Advising, and Counseling (TAC) Officer for the Minnesota Warrant Officer Candidate School, where he trained over 100 Soldiers to become Warrant Officer Ones. His military service includes deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Spartan Shield.

Demonstrating his commitment to the community, Jeremiah founded and serves as President of Free Flags for Vets, a national non-profit organization. The organization’s mission encompasses three key pillars: providing free 3x5 flags to current and former military members, raising awareness about the alarming rate of military suicides, and offering special honor cords to graduating seniors.

Jeremiah holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Rasmussen College and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from American Military University. His expertise includes recruiting, training, and strategic planning. Passionate about employee relations and success, Jeremiah believes in the power of teamwork and innovation.

Jeremiah has been married to his wife Jaala for over 20 years. Together they have two daughters, two sons, and one grandson.
